Glad you've stopped by to take a look at my web pages. I'm certainly not a web designer, so these pages are more an exercise in struggle than a work of design.
I was born in Miami Florida, but call Fort Walton Beach Florida as home where I graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1969. After a year at Okaloosa Walton Jr College (go Bogey Tech!), I enlisted in the US Navy and spent the next 20 years trying to figure out if I wanted to make the Navy a career or not.
In the Navy, I was trained as a Nuclear Machinist Mate and served on board several nuclear powered submarines, including USS Lewis and Clark (SSBN 644), USS John Marshall (SSBN and later converted to SSN 611), and the USS Stonewall Jackson (SSBN 634). I also served onboard USS Frank Cable (AS-40) and did a tour of duty as a staff member at RTC Orlando. I retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer (E9) December 31, 1990 after a few months more than 20 years.
After retiring from the Navy, I returned to college and completed a BS degree in Business and Finance at the College of Charleston and later went to work as a stock broker for a brief period.
I'm currently retired and living in Medford, OR with my lovely wife. I'm blessed with 2 children, both of whom have given me 2 grandchildren each. Additionally, my wife has 4 grandchildren of her own, giving us a grand total of 8!
